I previously tutored about Creating 404 Error Page In Blogger and today we are going to learn that how can we redirect pages in blogger new interface. In the old blogger interface we were unable to make a 301 or 302 redirection. As you know that this new interface has brought us a lot of benefits and features and redirecting pages feature is also one of them. This feature is only used when you delete or change any URL of your blog post or page. Because Search Engines will still show your older URL which you changed. So when you are changing the URL of any post or page , you will need to make redirection of old URL to New URL.

There are two kinds of redirection. First one is 301 which is also called permanent redirect and the second one is 302 which is also called temporarily redirect. Now you must be thinking that which redirect is better or which we should use ? I should always suggest you to use 301 because it is search engines' friendly. After redirecting the old URL to new one URL , search engines will show the new URL to the users or visitors. So friends let's start the tutorial.

How To Redirect Pages In Blogger New Interface

• Go To Blogger >> Settings >> Search Preferences
• In The Errors & Redirections Section, You Will See "Custom Redirects"
• Click "Edit"
• Now Something Will Appear Like The Image Below

• In the "From" box , You have to add your old URL and in the "To" box, you have to add your new URL. Now if you want to create 301 redirect then tick mark "Permanent" and if you want to create 302 redirect then leave it and save it.
• Now when you will open the old URL , you will be automatically redirected to the new URL. So you have done !
