SOCIALIZE IT →

Hi friends, I am back with a new pc trick. In this article I am going to teach you that how you can set a timer for automatic shutdown. Actually it happens when your any process is running on your laptop or pc, you have to go for an urgent work, that work will take too much time and you don't want to cancel your process or don't want to waste your electricity than this trick will help you so much.
There are two ways to set a time for automatic shutdown.

Set Timer For Automatic Shutdown Using Cmd

Go to START > Run > Type "cmd" in Run > Press Enter

Now a window will open than type the following code in that window and press enter.

shutdown /s /t (shutdown time in seconds)
Change (shutdown time in seconds) in your time for shutdown but the time will be in seconds than that code will look like this shutdown /s /t 120 . So that's the first way and here i am showing the second way.

Set Timer For Automatic Shutdown By Creating Shortcut File

Create a shortcut file by right clicking on desktop than go to "new" tab and click create shortcut

Now type the same code in "Type The Location Of The Item" which i gave you in the trick above
shutdown /s /t (Shutdown Time In Seconds)
Click Next >  Type The Name Of This File > Click Finish.

Now open your shortcut file and see results.

That's All.
